Madonna was such a caring student assistant! Her loving ways sure helped to ease the way for many struggling young ones. I especially recall how much of an influence she had on a severely challenged little boy in my grade three class at Upper Gullies Elementary. His face would brighten up when "An-roos" ( as he called Madonna) came into the classroom, and he'd race towards her for a big hug! She would patiently guide him along and redirected his frustration in such a gentle way.
Our school was a better place because of Madonna's influence. I cherish the good times we shared!
