Deeply saddened to learn of Eileen's passing and extend my sincere sympathy to the Morgan family. After enjoying sixty years of written correspondence, I shall miss her letters and cards. May God enfold her in His love, light and peace and sustain you in your sorrow. Memories build a bridge across time and space. You have only to remember and she will be there.

I was shocked and saddened to hear that Eileen had passed away. I always visited her when I went home to Newfoundland. Our mothers were first cousins, and I first met her when my mother went to St John's one summer (1955 I think), and when she returned Eileen came with her for a visit. We all loved to listen to her accent, very different from our Notre Dame Bay accent. On our last visit we parked our van in her yard overnight. She always had a little gift for us, and she was so entertaining. My condolences to the family, especially Louis, Rachel and Marjorie. Barby and Gerry

Every now and then we meet a person who is one-of-a-kind, sincere, honest, humorous, and a joy to be in their presence. Eileen was one of those people. When the store closed, a void was left in our lives; as a visit there, could lighten your heart, and bring a smile to your face. We are sorry to hear of her passing. Our sincere condolences, Mona Lacour Dooley, Evelyn Lacour Hennessey, and Alice Lee Finn. St. John's, all formerly of Holyrood.

Our deepest sympathy to all of Eileen's family and friends. It was just this summer past that we stopped at Eileen's and had a visit. We sat in the kitchen and she told my daughter about the days when my Mom and Dad (Nora and George Hutchings) would stop by the store on their motorcycle. We had a very nice visit and it was so enjoyable to hear her laughter and different things we talked about. She always was a very nice lady and I am sure your memories will help you get through this time. R.I.P. Eileen.

We are so saddened to hear of your great loss. Eileen was a wonderful person who was very close to our mom and dad. I remember as a little girl going to get our groceries at the shop and she was always so kind and friendly. Later years I would go with mom to visit her and she was always a ray of sunshine and laughter. Mom and Dad would bring my children up to visit and I would then bring my granddaughter and mom to visit. Dad and Mom loved her - we all loved her- she was a lovely lady who will be forever in our hearts. Our deepest sympathies to you all. Jean Hudson Coady and family and Gary Hudson and family
