Obituary of Corporal John Henry Pardy

Pardy, Corporal John Henry (Retired R.C.M.P.) Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving wife at the Health Sciences Complex on Friday, March 4, 2016 of Manuel's, age 64 yrs. Predeceased by his parents Major James and Charlotte Pardy, brother Gerald, father and mother-in-law Malcolm and Pearl Earle. Leaving to mourn his wife and best friend of 43 yrs Betty, daughter Dana and husband Craig, son Dean and wife Tanya, grandsons Kyle, Matthew, Joshua and Jonathan (Poppy's boys), brother David and wife Faye, brother and sister-in-law John and Jane Earle, nieces Kelly and Kim, nephews Darren, Robbie and Steven. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends. During his 32 yrs career in R.C.M.P. he served in Gander, NL, Meadow Lake (Sask), Whitbourne, Grand Bank, Holyrood and St. John's. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday from 7 - 9 pm, Sunday from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm, Monday from 10 - 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 2 pm from the Salvation Army CBS Corps, Long Pond. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Reader's Hill Road, Long Pond. Funeral service will be live streamed on the Salvation Army web site, www.salvationarmyincbs.com. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Junior Youth Bands, Salvation Army Corps, CBS and Kentville, Nova Scotia Corps.
