Judy,Louise & all the Butler & Chafe family...so sorry to hear of Barb's passing..she was such a delight to see when I Went to Sobey's I always waited & stood in line to see & chat with Barb..she was always such a pleasant lady..just sweet...cherish her memory....BLESS

In 1954, I first met my wonderful childhood friend, Louise Butler (Batten)in Greeleytown. I spent so many hours in the presence of her dear family. I will never forget her sweet mother, Annie Mae, who was always so kind to me and whose memory I treasure to this day. Then there was Louise's little sister, Patsy. She was always there at the house. Sometimes we included Patsy in our play activities and sometimes we would not simply because she was just the little sister and we had no time for younger friends. Today I mourn the passing of Patsy and the pain my dear friend Louise feels at the loss of her sister. I also mourn the passing of the years as I remember a simpler,gentler time when we were all just young schoolgirls being friends and playing happily together. Dearest Louise, my love and condolences go out to you and Don and your whole family during this sad time. Marie Haskell Ottawa
Patsy was an amazing friend and neighbor. She looked after me when I needed help. She made sure I had a meal and she was there when I needed advice. I will miss her dearly. Rest in peace.
