Obituary of Marjorie Taylor nee Porter
Taylor, Marjorie
1940 - 2016
After a courageous battle with cancer a big, kind, gentle heart beats no more. Passed peacefully away at her home surrounded by her family and friends, Marjorie Taylor (Porter), age 75, of Long Pond. Predeceased by her mother and father, Elsie and Charles Porter. Sisters Susie, Myrtle and Phyllis. Left with broken hearts her loving husband of 54 years Warrick, son Brian (Joanne), grandchildren Elisa and Brandon, family and friends. Her generous, giving soul now rests in eternal peace with those she lost and loved. A very special thank you to Dr. Fred Jardine whose care and support throughout her lifetime was much appreciated. A special thanks to the team of support who helped us through her final days: Reverend Sam, Nurses Jeanne and Kim, and Homecare support Shirley and Evelyn. Also a special mention to the family and friends that took the time to visit and share memories during her final days, many of which put a smile on her face. Visitation will be held at the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Sunday from 7 - 9 pm, Monday from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm, Tuesday from 10 - 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 2 pm from All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Church Road, Foxtrap. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Until we meet again… forever remembered, always cherished.
