Obituary of Jack Greene

Greene, Jack Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Health Sciences Complex on Monday, May 9, 2016 of Long Pond formerly of Tack's Beach, age 74 yrs. Predeceased by his parents Bride and Edward Greene, brothers Melvin and Victor, sisters Beatrice, Emma and Marie, father-in-law Joseph Dawe, son-in-law Richard Searle. Leaving to mourn his loving wife and best friend of 53 yrs Winnie, son Jim, daughters Joy, Jacqueline Penney (Bill), Joan (Randy), 6 grandchildren, whom he adored Joey and Jessica Penney, Megan Searle, Taner, Jade and Reid Whitty, mother-in-law Mabel Dawe, brother Frank (Alice deceased), sister Mary Gilbert (Harry). Also nephews, nieces and a large circle of family and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Wednesday from 7 - 9 pm, Thursday from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service to take place in the James J. Hickey Memorial Chapel, Kelligrews on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 11 am. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Dunn's Hill Road, Foxtrap.
