Raymond was one of those people you meet and remember for a lifetime, not for being loud, but because of his meekness. Growing up across the garden there was never a day went by that you didn't see him walking past on his way to tend to the cows or make hay. His mild demeanor in a way demanded respect and all of us "young people" gave it to him. We were not intimidated by him and nor should we have been. I would say that in the run of a day, he must have walked half marathons as he was always on the go. Heaven is a happier place today as another shepherd has walked through the gates as we, on earth, have lost a precious soul. Rest in Peace Raymond.
