There is not much one can say at this very difficult time for you all, but keep strong and now you have all those precious memories, which nobody can take from you. Thirty-five years ago this month, I married the love of my life and Carol Ann's baby brother, Bob Pomeroy. Carol Ann and Gary hosted a little supper for us at their home in Long Pond. I wore one of Judy's bridesmaid dresses and hat, and Carol Ann cut the leg out of a pair of her blue polkda dot panties for a garter for me. I'll never forget that day. Rest in Peace, Carol Ann.
To the Pomeroy and Porter families, My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. I was so saddened to hear of Carolann's passing. Her strength and courage was amazing and we are all blessed to have had her in our lives. I hope you can all be strong for each other as you continue to move along in this world without her. Tony and family, I am sorry to hear of your loss. I certainly know how heavy your hearts are at this time as it is weeks away from the 3rd anniversary of losing Mom. People say it gets better but I am not sure I believe that. I think that we just find ways in our lives to accept and adjust to our loss. Our family has lost a great woman. The oldest of a group of amazing sisters, Aunt Carolann, you were an inspiration and role model to us all. I am lucky to have known you and to have such fond memories to remember you by. You will live on in my heart forever. Aunt Carolann, I love you and will miss you always.
