Obituary of James Augustus Fowler

Fowler, James Augustus Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Health Sciences Complex on Friday, July 8th, 2016, age 90 years, of C.B.S. Predeceased by parents, Augustus and Alethea Fowler, wife Doris of 52 years, second wife Ada Woodland, daughter-in-law Elizabeth Fowler, sister, Millicent Taylor (Doug), brothers, Eric (Kathleen), Albert (Rebecca), Fred (Bernice). Leaving to mourn his children, Gertie Henderson (Norman), Joyce Shinkle (Matt) and Jim, grandchildren, Michelle Hennessey (Randy), Mike Henderson (Nicole),Nadine Shinkle (Paul), Melissa English Barbour (Brad), Mandy Graham (Dwane),Matthew Fowler and Ashley Fowler, great-grand children Tyler and Adam Hennessey, Bradley and Elle English Barbour, Allie Shinkle and Maya and Mitchell Henderson, sister Marie Porter, step children, Brenda and Wayne Bowering, Glen and Ethel Woodland, Rod and Michelle Woodland and their families. Also many other relatives and friends who were close to dad. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Sunday and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service in St. John the Evangelist Church on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 11 am. Internment in the Anglican Cemetery, Topsail. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church or a charity of ones choice.
