Searle, Douglas Passed suddenly away at his home in Long Pond on Tuesday, February 17,2009 age 73 yrs . Predeceased by his son Perry (1999), great-granddaughter Keihannah (1998). Leaving to mourn his wife Joan, 5 sons: Eddie (Barb), Austin, Dougie, Max (Karen), Rodney (Lucky), 6 daughters: Barbara (Norm), Hilda, Linda (Gerry), Carol Ann (Chris), Betty (Dennis), Debbie (Randy), 28 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 4 brothers, 1 sister, and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday 10am-9pm, Friday 10am-12 noon. Funeral service in All Saint's Anglican Church, Foxtrap on Friday, February 20,2009 at 2pm. Cremation to follow.
