Obituary of Karen Lynn Strong
Strong (nee Crane), Karen Lynn. Passed peacefully away on May 14, at the Leonard A. Miller Centre, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her father and mother, Francis and Shirley Crane, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Marjorie Strong of Little Bay Islands. Leaving to mourn her husband and best friend Haddon; four children Jason, Christine (Edward Drover), Aileen (Steve Woodman), and Mark; two grandchildren, Shannon and Isaac. Sisters, Cindy (Phil Ruiter), Sandra (Mike Merker), Judy (Bruce Moores); brother and sister-in-laws, Carolyn (Robin Molson deceased), Bill Strong (Pansy), Barb (Dave Pederson), Ted Strong (Lynda), Gerry Strong (Shari), and special friends Barb and John Hennessey. As well as a large number of nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers at CRA. A special thank you to the staff and volunteers at PCU, Miller Centre and Rev. Jean Smith. Cremation has taken place. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews, CBS on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm, Monday from 10-12 noon. Funeral Service on Monday, May 18 at 2pm from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Rectory Road, Topsail. Inurnment in the Anglican Cemetery, Topsail.
