Obituary of Annie Mae Gaulton
Annie Mae Gaulton
It is with heavy hearts that we regret to announce the death of a dear and beautiful soul, Annie Mae Gaulton (Rideout). Mae passed peacefully away on February 22, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 3, 1920 to the late Archibald and Martha Rideout of Valley Pond, Notre Dame Bay. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Leaving to mourn her loss are: her beloved son,Fred; devoted grandchildren Yolanda, Natasha, Justin and Joshua (Adrienne); cherished great-grandchildren Evan, Hailey and Addison; many treasured nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends Cindy, Donna, Janette, Bridget, Colin & Greta, and Audrey & Hayward.
Besides her parents, Mae was predeceased by her husband, Wilson; brothers, Gilbert and James; and dear sister, Minnie.
Mae lived a long and happy life. She had an adventurous and independent spirit and enjoyed travelling both near and far. Some of her happiest moments were spent aboard the Mitsy with Wilson and Fred out on Conception Bay. She loved time in the garden with her vegetables and flowers and later in life watching her grandchildren grow.
She leaves all of us with the gift of abundant love for family and friends. One that will live on in all of us who knew and loved her.
