Obituary of Loretta Connors

Connors, Loretta Passed peacefully away on March 10, 2018, at Health Science Centre, Loretta Connors (nee Murphy and Sweeney) of Kelligrews, formally of Labrador City and Bell Island. Born September 27, 1936 on Bell Island she is predeceased by her parents Lillian and John Sweeney of Bell Island, and her late husband Ron Murphy (1965) and Gerard (Scotch) Connors (1994), brothers Rev and Gordon, sisters Margaret, Marion and Marie and son-in-law Roland. Leaving to mourn her children Rev Sweeney, Rita (Rob) Lucas, Ron Murphy, Ronda Warford, John (Patsy) Murphy, Jamie (Kim) Connors, Paula Connors, Gerry (George) Fewer, Arlene (Bob) Severn, Shawn (Myra) Connors and Carole (Scott) Connors. Also, leaving to mourn, twenty-two grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren, brothers (Jack, Myles and Ray) and sister (Viola). Friends Audrey Murphy, Ed and Dale Sweetapple and numerous family and friends. Visitation to take place at Hickey's Funeral Home on Monday, March 12th, from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 7:00 - 9:00pm. Funeral mass will take place at Hickeys Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, March 13th at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Bell Island St. Michaels Cemetery at 2:00pm.
