Obituary of Kathleen Cumbie

Kathleen B. Cumbie (nee Mulrooney) R.N. (graduate of S.A.G.G.H Class of 1961) (February 9, 1939 - June 29, 2018) It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful but sudden passing of a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother Kathleen B. Cumbie, at her home on Friday, June 29, 2018. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Harriett Mulrooney (Windsor, NL), siblings Warrick, Marion (Lucien, deceased), Myrtle (William, deceased), Edith (Claude, deceased), Montrose (Velma, deceased), Edward and Munden and sister-in-law Esther Gregory (Samuel). Left to mourn with loving memories are her husband of 56 years John, children Duncan (Dianne), Ian (Denise) and Gail (Morgan) and her precious grandchildren Olivia, Caroline, Maeve and Henry, brother Winston (Effie), sister Diane (Roger, deceased) and brother Stephen (Elaine) and their families, and sisters-in-law Barbara Mulrooney and Marlene Mulrooney as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Wednesday, July 4, from 7 pm - 9 pm, Thursday, July 5, from 2 pm - 4 pm & 7 pm - 9 pm. Funeral service will take place from St. John the Evangelist Church, Topsail on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 1 pm. Cremation to follow.
