Obituary of James Crosbie

Crosbie, James P. August 29, 1941 - July 26, 2018 Passed away suddenly, James Percy Crosbie on July 26, 2018. Predeceased by his mother and father Ella & Percy Crosbie and son Fred. Jim leaves to mourn their sad loss, his wife Tessa (Hutton), sons Basil (Andrea Powell), Philip, granddaughter Ella (his little one), grandson Matthew. Brother Colin (Florence), niece Tracey, nephew Christopher, members of the Crosbie & Hutton family, along with many friends. Jim was an active member of his community and the insurance industry, a chartered member of the Avalon Northeast Rotary and a builder of the Baseball Assoc. of Conception Bay South. He will be sadly missed by the staff of his company, Crosbie Job Insurance. The family would like to thank the Administration and Staff of Chancellor Park 3 West for their kindness and compassion. Flowers gratefully received or donations in Jim's memory may be made to the SPCA or Heart & Stroke Foundation. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Monday & Tuesday from 2 pm - 4 pm & 7 pm - 9 pm. Funeral service will take place from St. Thomas of Villanova Church, Manuel's on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 2 pm. Inurnment in St. Thomas of Villanova Cemetery, Topsail.
