To my childhood friends from across the road, I am sorry to read about your dad's passing. One of my favourite memories was a time when I was at the door, waiting for Angela to come out to "play". You were having home made chips wrapped in paper, which I had never seen before, but he said it was the best way to have chips. I was shy and said "no thank you", but he gave me some anyway. A little kindness shown to a child.
