Obituary of William Gordon Dawe

Dawe, William Gordon Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Predeceased by his father and mother, Gordon and Lucy. Leaving to mourn his two children, Carol (Carl Kelly), Pouch Cove and Gregory, St. John's. Three wonderful grandchildren: Erin, Jessica and Nicholas, sisters Helen Bentley, Ontario, Gladys Bussey (Winston), Ontario, Daphne Greenslade (Bill), Long Pond, Heather George (Gerald), Kelligrews, brothers, Arthur (Daphne), Kelligrews, Lawrence, New Brunswick, Harold, Alberta. Also, many nephews, nieces and friends. Gordon served as Minister in the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador from 1969 to 1975. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Tuesday 7 pm to 9 pm, Wednesday 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. Funeral service in All Saint's Anglican Church, Foxtrap on Thursday, February 10,2011 at 11 am. Internment in the Anglican Cemetery, Dunn's Hill Road, Foxtrap.
