I am so very sorry to hear of Barb's passing. A retired colleague informed me today. I worked with Barb in Holyrood for several years in the 90's and thought very fondly of her during those years. No doubt she will be missed by many.

We only learned of Barb's passing this morning. It is a very sad & difficult time for everyone. Barb was a wonderful person, very friendly and very caring. It is with heavy hearts that we extend sincere condolences to Barb’s family. Uncle Harold, Rick, Randy, Rod and families. Aunt Barb was such a special person. A woman of much strength and many talents. She was always 'there' to contribute what she could - beit a feed of salt fish and potatoes over the christmas holidays, a tune and a song wherever one was needed, or a ride to elementary school for my cousins and I if it was streaming rain.
She was a helper: a kind and gentle confidant and will forever be missed.
May the light of your memories with her brighten the paths you have before you.

I remember your singing, your soccer-mom days, your step-dancing with Nan Kennedy at weddings, and all the times you took us camping, fishing, swimming, and other great activities. Harold and family
We were so very sorry to hear of Barbs passing. Barb was a beautiful, kind, caring person. She, my mom and Dad became good friends through the fellowship of church and music while they resided in CBS. As a result the family as a whole got to know her as well. We were very appreciative of her kindness and most specially when she came and sang at our dads funeral (Al Decker).
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May family and friends bring you comfort and wonderful memories of happier times bring you peace.

Harold, Rick, Randy, Rod and families, I am so sorry to hear of Barb's passing. She was a great lady with a zest for life. The many hours I spent at your house as a child, will always be some of my fondest memories. In later years seeing her at square dances and kitchen parties, we were able to connect again.
