Sincere condolences your sad loss. I remember Kevin, from our Calvert days, as always being a very, kind, friendly and pleasant guy. When I spoke to him again last spring and heard him speak in Calvert Hall, I saw that he had never changed!

To the Power family. My sincerest condolences on Kevins passing. I met Kevin when he first went to work at Whitbourne. Always a gentleman and always pleasant with a joke and a laugh. He will be missed by all who knew him but most of all by his loved ones.

I can pretty much remember the first day Kevin came to work at Newfoundland Power. I can still remember attending his and Jeannie's wedding up the shore. I worked with Kevin for a good many years and we shared a lot of memories especially working the power outages which were always challenging to say the least. They were all good memories. I'm sure that Kevin will not only be missed by his family but also by his Newfoundland Power family. My deepest condolences go out to Jeannie, Mark, Laura, Ryan and all of the Power family.

I consider myself blessed to have had the opportunity to know and spend time with Kevin and the Power Family over the past number of years as Laura's friend. I have many memories of sleepovers at their house and waking to the sound of the Irish Newfoundland show coming from the kitchen on Saturday mornings. He was eager to get the family up to start a project - no time for sleeping in. He loved to tell a story, share wisdom and make others laugh... and what a great laugh he had. He was truly a great man, so dedicated to family, friends and living his BEST life. He faced his diagnosis with such amazing strength and positivity - a true inspiration to me. Jeanie, Laura, Ryan, Mark and family - Sending my love to you all. Take comfort knowing what a great person your husband/father was. He made this world a better, happier place. We were shocked to here of Kevin's illness and saddened to here of his passing. I really enjoyed the time we spent together while working in Whitbourne.We all shared a lot of laughs together for sure. He loved a good laugh, was a pleasure to be around and I was fortunate to have known him.

I too worked with Kevin and learned so much from him. He was a great person to work with, loved his job and positively impacted all those he came in contact with. Dear Jeanie, Mark,Laura and Ryan, I am so very sorry to hear of Kevin’s passing. Kevin was always such a kind; gentle and caring man, a true gentleman. I reflect and remember all of the wonderful times that I shared with Kevin and you all when Andrew and Ryan were playing hockey and soccer together, all of the road trips and the fun we all had together as friends. I saw Kevin a few years ago while shopping at Costco and it had been years since I had seen Kevin after moving from Seal Cove, it was so wonderful to see him with again with his wonderful smile and happy demeanour that could always light up a room and make you feel so special! I will cherish that moment forever as well as the warm and friendly hug that he gave me as well. My deepest sympathy to you all . You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
