Obituary of Ronald J. Walsh Sr.

Ronald J. Walsh Sr. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, on January 12, 2020 at the age of 87. Pre-deceased by his dance partners through life Dorothy, Gert and Dora. Also pre-deceased by his parents William and Kathleen and his sister Janet. Left to remember him fondly through their memories are his beloved children Anne Marie and Ron (Melanie) and his adored grandchildren Laurie (Mark), Kayla and Steven (Ashley). Also left to celebrate his life are his brother Joe and his sister Regina (Hubert) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relations and friends. Special thanks to Judy Tilley, Yvonne Hunt, Lorne Sheppard, the staff of Admirals Coast Retirement Home and St. Patrick’s Mercy Home for their tender love, care and support in recent times. Visitation will take place at James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Monday, January 13 from 7-9pm and Tuesday, January 14 from 2-4pm and 6:30 pm-8:30pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. Edwards Parish, Kelligrews on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 11 am. Internment will take place immediately following the service at St. Edward’s Cemetery, Kelligrews.
