I was so heartbroken to read of Gail’s passing. I taught Gail at Our Lady of Mercy School in the ‘80’s. That may seem like a long time ago, but a teacher doesn’t forget those students who were a delight to teach. This was Gail! She had a smile always and was fun to teach. Yes, she played the violin for a few years while at OLM. She was a kind girl and very caring about others. And being a nurse only solidified these traits!

Gail was such a lovely person. I got to know Gail when she first practiced nursing in St. Anthony, a few years after she became a part of our family when she married my cousin Morgan. We stayed connected usually with her visits to St. Anthony or when she would offer her home to us when we'd have to take our son to the Janeway. Always there to lend us a hand and make sure that we had all we needed during our stay with her and Morgan.
My latest and greatest memory of Gail was when she was MC at her neices wedding and my part was to prepare a sideshow and present it at the wedding. Well, she thought we were the perfect wedding duo and she jokingly thought that we could make a fortune and should start a wedding business.
It's sad to see such a lovely lady gone too soon. She surely will be missed with her witty remarks and her kind heart.
Your days of pain and suffering are over. Rest easy my friend...until we met again.

My memories of Gail are of a force to be reckoned with, a kind loving heart, and a sidesplitting comedian. I met Gail at Holy Heart in Grade 11, spent hours talking with her during university when we should have been studying, and then had the pleasure of working side by side with her as an RN at St. Clare's for a period in adulthood. To Gail’s family and her nursing colleagues,
