Obituary of Gail Richards

Gail Jane (nee Cumbie) Richards (October 31, 1969 – December 17, 2020). R.N. (graduate of G.H.S.O.N. Class of ‘97), B.A. (MUN). It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of a loving wife and devoted mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend to all, at her home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, December 17, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her mother Kathleen Cumbie, father-in-law Clifford Richards and niece Jessica Richards. Left to mourn with a lifetime of memories are her soulmate and husband Morgan, darling son Henry, father John, brothers Duncan (Dianne) and Ian (Denise), mother-in-law Mae Richards, sister-in-law Claudine Rose (Kirby), brothers-in-law Kevin Richards (Daphne) and Jaret Richards (Stephanie), nieces Olivia, Caroline and Maeve Cumbie, Miranda Cull (Raymond), Valerie, Victoria, Cian, and Caiden Richards, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the medical community and care givers for the outstanding support and care Gail received during her journey.
