Lewis & Family,
I am profoundly saddened by Doreen’s passing. She meant a lot to me. As a young child she worked & lived at my place. I remember her hearty laughter which from visits to her childhood home with her was most likely pure genetics !
She was so kind & good to me. We watched late night movies together ( one of which scares me to this day!) , enlightened me to teenage milestones, let me crawl in bed beside her if I had a bad dream, made delicious bread & was always patient & fun.
In later years she would come round in the summer to see my mom & go for long walks with my sister & cousin Pansy . She was always so happy to relay stories of her children & grandchildren whom it was evident she was so proud of.
I, like you will miss her but think of her great smile & remember her fondly, always.
