I have known your Mom for a long time….from high school travelling on the same bus everyday, to her days at Hennesseys , and in recent years from time spent together at Salmonier Line. Always enjoyed our chats and visits. Although she struggled with health issues more recently, she always had her big smile. Janet was always one you could count on to have a positive attitude. If you showed her your sewing , baking , singing a new song , learning to play guitar, etc. her words were always “ what a job”.
She was a great friend to my Mom and all our family. We so enjoyed her company on many of our excursions ( hockey tournament trips , birthday parties, sing-a - longs ) as much as she did taking part. RIP My Friend .

Betty, Roy and to our family very sorry we couldn’t be home at this sad time. We have been thinking of you all since Aunt Janet was brought to hospital and now in her passing. She will always be remembered for love of family, friends and all that life could offer she gave us the lesson of never giving up no matter what life gave. She never complained over the years she took her journey with cancer so courageous and never let it stop her from getting out to enjoy times with family and friends. She had many titles but to me she was aunt and godmother. Grace got the pleasure of being her great niece but she called her “NAN Janet “ as that’s what she would hear her cousins call her NAN so then she added Janet to it.
Our hearts are wishing to be home with you sending all our love as you move through the coming days.

I would always be going in buying wool to knit a sweater, but I’d never had enough to buy all the balls at the one time. She would put them aside for me and I’d pick them up as I needed them. The last time I talked to Janet was at a celebration of life of one our friends which both of us enjoyed. I also enjoyed our little chats when I worked right next door to her. But most of all the times she would come down to our house to have meals with us at the home by the bridge.
