Erica, Jeremy & Almeda & families,
I am shocked & saddened to hear about the passing of your dear mother & sister. Sheila & I worked together at Exon House for many years & became fast friends. We had so many good times including her dragging me of to bingo on occasion & me taking her to the club. She beat me to the alter(not allowing me to get married first) and 3 weeks later she stood by my side as a bridesmaid when I got married and moved to PEI . Time passes & life takes you many directions and we lose track of people we love , but she was one of the good ones & the best friend & co-worker anyone could ask for. Sending you all my deepest sympathies ,love & prayers at this most difficult times.
Love
Winnie

My deepest condolences on the loss of such a strong, tough woman. Sheila was a colleague at OPE and one of her favorite things was to give me a hard time, in true Sheila fashion. We had many laughs together and many good conversations over the years. Sheila was certainly one of the strongest women I ever met, and she fought her battle with such dignity and determination. I was so saddened to hear of her passing. Thinking of her family during this difficult time. Always remember that Sheila's OPE family are here for you! Take care.

Sheila, you left the greatest legacy a person could ever leave behind when they are called to their forever home. You left your amazing children & grandchildren to carry on adding love & kindness to this world. You left friends who would have never laughed as hard as you made us laugh & we will continue to do so because of you.
You truly did use your life to LIVE, LOVE & LAUGH! But most importantly, you shared all those things with everyone lucky enough to know you.
I will think of you every day, especially when the sun is shining bright because you were a true Sun Goddess. I will think of you each time I hear a song that made us cry or laugh or both. I will love you always & feel forever blessed that God brought us together at 11 years old.
But it’s time for you to rest now sweet Sheila & scuff forever more in angel wings & be embraced in the love & protection of God’s loving arms. You have so earned it.
My love and prayers are with you Erica & Michael.

Your mom .was such a loving mother and a proud and adoring grandmother.

We loved her dearly and we will certainly miss her.

Erica, Michael and family,
Jeff and I are thinking about you all today. We are so very sorry to hear about Shelia's passing. We have some beautiful memories to share with you. When Erica and her family lived across the street from us, practically every weekend we would see Shelia's little red car pull up. She so enjoyed spending her time with her children and grandchildren. Jeff and I remember having to conceal Sheila's car in our driveway behind our house to help in surprising Erica for her birthday one year. We were eager to help as we knew Sheila's car was recognizable. Hard to say who was more excited about dancing that night at the party...Sheila so enjoyed a celebration. I remember another time long before I really knew Sheila when she was cleaning at a school I worked in. I quickly made the connection of who she was and told her that her granddaughter and my daughter were close friends. Her face lit up, she excitedly spoke about her grandchildren, Madison and Layne. Whenever we saw Sheila across the road, she wouldn't hesitate to speak with us. We so enjoyed the conversations. She was down to earth, honest and genuine. Characteristics that both her children have inherited. Erica and Michael, take comfort in remembering all the beautiful memories you have shared with your amazing mom. We know the days ahead will be incredibly lonely without her. She had remarkable grit and determination that she has passed on to you both. You have a beautiful extended family and amazing friends to lean on in the days ahead. Please know that we are thinking about you and we are here as well. Much love to you all.

Dear Erica & Family,
I am so very sorry to hear about Sheila’s passing. She played a big part of my life for many years - a friend, a confidant, someone to share a tea with, and devour a few Terry’s Chocolate Oranges with on Christmas morning. While we lost touch, I will always have many happy memories to look back on.
Sending love your way,
