Obituary of Sheila Andrews
Sheila Andrews (Fitzgerald), of Paradise, passed peacefully away on November 18th, 2021, after a long two-year battle with cancer. Predeceased by her mother: Mary, father: Michael, and brothers: Kevin and Anthony. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are her two precious children, for whom she was so proud, Michael (Julia) and Erica (Jeremy) and grandchildren: Madison and Layne. Sister: Almeda (Francis), Special friends: Debbie and Terri. Also leaving to mourn are her many cherished nieces and nephews, as well as a large circle of friends, both old and new. A special thanks to Melinda, Dave, Megan, and her friends at OPE. Your support over the past two years has not gone unnoticed. We would also like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the amazing staff at Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, Dr. Rogers from Palliative Care, and Lana and all her staff from Aurora Estates, who all took the most amazing care of our mother and treated her like family. We will be forever grateful for you all. Sheila will forever be remembered for her quick wit and love for dancing. She left an impression on anyone who got the chance to meet and know her. She was the best mother and friend, always there with a helping hand. She was loved by many. Visitation will be in Hickey’s Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday, November 20th, 2021 from 12:30 PM – 4 PM. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dr. H.
