I am saddened to have discovered today that Jim had died. My deepest condolences to Barb and the entire family. I remember Jim as a very gracious and kind man. It was a privilege to have shared with him, for some yeses, in the work of the Church- always a gentleman, always a smile. May you find comfort in the knowledge that Jim had a deep and abiding faith in his Lord. May he Rest In Peace and rise in Glory!

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Smith. I grew up with the whole family as we were neighbours. I played table tennis in the families basement and made several trips to CLB and the ball field with him. I was always treated well. I hope all the family are well.

The Smith Family,
I have known Mr. Smith for most of my life and have many memories. Where ever you went over the years he was the consummate volunteer and community builder. At CLB he was our company commander, at softball he was our umpire , hockey he was a coach and he played a leadership role looking after our food bank.
