Obituary of Duane Hutchings

Duane Hutchings, 56, unexpectedly and tragically passed away Tuesday, June 7 2022

Leaving to mourn his untimely passing with broken hearts are his best friend and wife, Glenda, his loving children Elizabeth (Johnny), Hannah (Michael), and Jordan (Madison), his father Joe, sisters Renée (Rick Hodder), Tammy (Blair Isaacs). Predeceased by his loving Mom Cammy (Mary), and his parents in law Eddie & Loretta Pomroy He also leaves to mourn a village of sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends who loved him dearly. 

Duane loved having the crowd in and cooking up a scoff. Putting on a bonfire in the front yard, he was happiest surrounded by his people. He treasured not only his family but his chosen family…his friends on and off the ice. Player, coach, giver, helper. 

Visitation at Hickey’s Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Friday, June 10 from 1 pm – 4 pm and from 5 pm – 8 pm. Funeral service will take place at the funeral home chapel on Saturday June 11 at 11 am. Jerseys welcome.
