My condolences to the Lewis and Kennedy families. I never knew Bridget and perhaps that was because she had left home before the family moved across the street from where I lived on Bell Island. I have fond memories of the Kennedy Family but little did I know that I worked with her son-in-law Doug for years and never knew of this connection.

I am so sorry to hear of Bride's passing.She was an amazing wife ,Mom,and a very hard worker. I would watch as she walked home from her work late at night when I babysat you all. She would be so tired but she would always check on each of you before she sat down. I am so saddened to hear of Brides passing. I knew Bride back in the Beach Cottage days, in fact she took me under her wing to teach me the art of waitressing tables. Although, through no fault of Bride’s, I didn’t fare to well there, but, I did move from the restaurant to the pub to work and we remained co-workers and friends.
Bride was such a fun loving person to be around and she had such an infectious laugh. She always had a fun story to tell and she was loved by all. She will be missed.. Rest In Peace my friend.
