Passed peacefully away on February 25^th, 2023, Rita (Rete) Dawe of Kelligrews, age 90 years. Predeceased by her parents: William T. and Elizabeth, brothers: Jim (Cecilia), Phil (Doris), Paddy (Isabelle), sisters: Annie Mae (Philip) Whelan , Madeline (Peter) Duff, Marion (Gerald) Murphy, Mary(Mike)Myers, Ethel (Artie) Murphy, Nellie(Patrick)English. Leaving to mourn a large number of nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends as well as special friends, Jim Whitten; Tom, Beth, Dianne and Corinne Kieley, as well as Laura and all the staff of Admiral's Coast Retirement Home. Visitation in Hickey's Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, CBS on Monday, February 27^th, 2023 from 12 – 4 pm. Funeral service in Hickey’s Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, February 28^th, 2023 at 11:30 am. Internment at St Edward's Cemetery, Kelligrews.
