Your wings were ready, but my heart was not.
Family is the most important thing in the world to me. You have shown me that in the end the only thing that matters is family, and for that I am forever grateful. Our bond will always remain strong. I was your youngest grandchild and you will always be my best friend. This too will never change. You can finally be at peace now and fly high with nanny Marie and princess as I am sure you wanted. I promise that I will continue to make you proud. I will never forget everything you have taught me. Ro will be evermore reminded of how special it’s been spending time with you and the three of us shared the most special bond. Thank you for all you have done, poppy. You live in a special place and forever in my heart, my dearest poppy Joe. Until we meet again. I know it’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. I love you with all my heart today and always.
