Obituary of Susan Taylor
Susan (nee Pynn) Taylor
November 9, 1960 - May 27, 2023
Greatly beloved to her family and friends, Susan Taylor has fallen asleep in the Lord after a lengthy illness. Predeceased by her grandparents, Clinton and Henrietta Pynn, and John and Elsie Day, she leaves to mourn her lovingly devoted and heartbroken parents, Jean and Gerry Pynn, loving husband, Richard; deeply adored sons Jacob Murphy (Kirstie) and Stephen Murphy; step-daughters, Holly Taylor and Melissa Taylor (Shane Miller); treasured grandchildren, Lola and Lochlan Murphy, and Keegan and Peyton Miller; siblings, Gerry (Ruth), Nancy Keating (Don), David (Dorothy), Darren (Tracey) and Scott (Christine) along with several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends, as well as her faithful and beloved companion, Peanut. Very special thanks to Gerry and Ruth for their untiring and loving ministrations during Susan's illness, for which the entire family offers heartfelt gratitude.
Beautiful, talented and intelligent, Susan was a blessing in our lives for which we will ever be grateful. She was a gifted writer, leaving behind a body of published works for children. A keen observer of human nature, she had a sophisticated sense of humor enjoyed by all who knew her. She was loyal and supportive; an uplifting and comforting presence in times of trouble. Susan faced her illness fearlessly and with her characteristic humor, never succumbing to self-pity, secure in her faith that '...all things work together for good to them that love God...' (Romans 8:28) She now sleeps in hope of the Resurrection at the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
