Elizabeth and family, please accept my sincerest condolences. I can only imagine how difficult it is to lose your mom. They are the glue that holds families together and losing them is hard. I know your mom was living with Alzheimer's in latter years and experiencing the early stages with my own mom I realize the sadness it brings to watch them change before our eyes. Keeping them happy, content and ensuring their dignity is maintained is what is most important to us in the end. I know you have many memories and I am sure they will bring a laugh, a smile and much comfort to you in days to come. Rest assured she is enjoying her music and her memory is restored. She is not gone but just in a better place. I am thinking of you and sending you a big hug, Elizabeth, even though you are probably cringing at the thoughts of warm and fuzzy embraces. You are remembered by me as a strong and compassionate individual, salt of the earth kind of person, and I think about you often.
