Willie had a nature that you could just love, kind, gentle & always had that little smile, & it said on his obituary a huge heart I’m sure to all who knew & loved him. He loved working with his hands, he built Ralph Jr’s baby barn about 22 years ago we taught he was the sweetest man, he just had that special way about him. To Sue and family my deepest condolences to you all on the passing of Willie. He was a respected and loved man with the greatest of passion to all who knew him. He will be missed. I had the pleasure of his company on many occasions but the most wonderful memory is the time he and I went to catch a few trout and he sat down on the bank after casting out his line only to lay his hand on his pocket knife that he had lost several months earlier. Each trout he caught, (which I'm sure there were thousands) was like his first. He will be missed

We were heartbroken to hear of Uncle Willie's passing. We have many fond memories of Uncle Willie that we will hold dear within our hearts. At this sad time for your family, and our family too, we wish that we could be close enough to embrace in hugs of sympathy and love. This not being possible at this time, however, please know that our hearts, prayers, and thoughts are with you all. I passed the news on to Uncle Willie's sister, Ruth Smith, this morning, and she was very sad to hear the news. She sends her love to all of you.
