To Ian's family - we were so sorry to hear of Ian's passing. We both knew him from Memorial University. My husband Scott, worked with him in Facilities Management and I knew him through the work he did for us in our department over the years. Ian was always so friendly and courteous and no matter where I saw him on campus, he'd always have a smile and up for a quick chat. He was a good guy and again, we're so very sorry to hear about his passing. Hoping memories of happier times brings your family peace and comfort in the difficult days ahead. Suzanne it’s unbelievable to fathom that when Ian visited dad on the Friday before his collapse it would be the last time we would see him. How life can change in an instant. There are just no words to express how sad we are on the passing of our dear Darts buddy Ian...so hard to believe that he's gone.
Ian was a dedicated and valued member of our Darts League for many years. He was a pleasure to be around...always with a "hello darliin'...hello honey...how are ya ". Ian didn't rush for anyone. When it was his turn to shoot his darts, you often had to find him first ....up at the bar or having a chat with someone. Then he took his time and went up to shoot, probably having another chat on the way to the dartboard. And when those darts didn't go where he wanted them to, you would hear his favorite expression..."#%$# ya!". That was our Ian.
To Suzanne and all of Ian's family and friends, please accept our deepest condolences on his passing. May God give all of you the strength you need to get through the difficult days ahead.
RIP dear Ian. We hope there's a nice cold Canadian Light waiting for you up there. We miss you terribly but will always cherish our many memories of you.

Sue and Family, We were so sad to here of Ian's passing. Robert played softball and we both played darts with him on Monday nights and I went to school with him . He was a very generous and kind man who spoke often of his children and grandchildren and the hockey games he went to. We will miss him.
