Sylvia and Family:So pleased that you used this picture of Lloyd in the obit!Not only because it was his characteristic outfit over the last few years,but because it portrays his character and personality Admirably….the sparkle in his eyes his sense of humor and openness and his readiness to talk and sometimes argue!I have to say as a conversationalist he was exceptional,and I found to have a “yarn with Lloyd was to have a good one!And like many in his Twillingate heritage many of his conversations began with “Look see..”Today as you mourn and celebrate his life,you will be thinking of his roots, of the numbers of people who heard him say,”Your clock/watch is ticking again,” his devotion to you Sylvia,his support to his children, for whom I have great respect and admiration,and especially Dana who thought I was God,(God brought me home),All this and much,much more!!Our supportive prayers are with you as you honor his life and mourn his passing.
