Frances Daphne (Dawe) Rideout

May 14, 1928 - February 10,2024

Passed peacefully away at Pleasant View Towers on February 10,2024, at 95 years of age.

Predeceased by her husband: Eric (1990), son: Douglas (2021), parents: James and Gwendolyn Dawe, sisters and brothers: Lillian Westcott (Edward), Ruby Reid (John), Myrtle Johnson (Elwood), Muriel Fordham (Gerald), Wilfred Dawe (Nell) and sister-in-law: Nellie Jennings, brother in laws: Gerald Barnes and Leonard Mercer.

Leaving to mourn daughter: and son in law: Marilyn and Eugene Warren, daughter in law: Lily Rideout, brother: Bill Jennings, sisters: Mary Barnes and Alma Mercer, grandchildren: Renee Cull (Shannon), Scott Rideout (Sherri), Christopher Warren (Rachel), Susan Duggan (Mike), Bryan Warren (Heather), ten great grandsons, one great great granddaughter. Also, nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

Mom was very active in All Saints Parish, ACW, CLB.  She was an honorary life member of the Girl Guide Movement.  Mom was a great cook and baker and enjoyed spending time with friends, playing cards, and camping.

Special thanks to the staff of Admirals Coast Retirement Centre and the staff of Pleasant View Towers (4North West) for the love and care provided to Mom.

Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home,570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South. on Monday February 12th, 2024th  from 3pm-7 pm. Funeral Service in All Saints Anglican Church Foxtrap, on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024, at 11am. Internment in the Anglican Cemetery, Dunn’s Hill Road, Foxtrap.
