Cynthia is predeceased by her loving husband David Gill and leaves to mourn her daughter Susan Bonnell and son-in-law John; son Ken Gill and partner Cindy Lethbridge; grandchildren Sarah Maxwell and husband Nik, David Bonnell and partner Jessie Daley, Julia Gill and Holly Gill; brothers David Haines (Patricia) and Lorne Haines (Louise); sister Joyce Hudachek; Eve MacDonald; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.

Born in 1939, Cynthia lived in Conception Bay South almost all her life and taught hundreds of children in Upper Gullies and Mount Pearl. She was creative and musical, playing the organ in churches, singing in choirs and teaching painting and crafting to many adult learners. She loved to play bridge and to travel, but got the most joy from being a proud grandma and mom.

The family are grateful for the loving circle of care surrounding Mom since Dad’s passing, especially Aunt Louise and Uncle Lorne; her neighbors on Dunn’s Hill Road and the staff at Admiral’s Coast; Karen and Susan; Pat and the bridge girls; Maxine, Stephanie, Coastal Sounds and the St. John the Evangelist Church Choir; and Rev. Jotie Noel.

…It’s comforting to imagine the dynamic duo are together again, with Dave telling the stories and Cynthia doing the interruptions.
