Carolyn, Natalie, and Family,
Please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of your mom/nan. While we only had the pleasure of meeting Sonya on a few occasions the love you all had for one another was very much apparent. Paul, Jane, and Carolyn we are so sorry to hear about the passing of Sonya. I did not know her that well but she was always very nice to me when I was in her company. Glen on the other hand knew her very well and did say that she was a very sweet lady. I remember all the wonderful Christmas family gettogethers at Sonya's home in CBS where our very large extended family would gather. Sonya with her loving and gracious hospitality would always make everyone so welcomed and well fed. She was a gem and I will miss her terribly. Thinking about her as a teenager teaching myself and my sister how to rock & roll to Elvis Presley records. We had the most fun.

We were so sad to hear about Sonya’s passing. She was indeed a strong woman, and one who knew how to laugh too. She loved her family deeply, and extended friendliness to those she met. We will miss seeing her at Ocean Pond but will think about her there often.

We spent many years on the same bowling team and enjoyed many laughs together with Joan and Louise (who have both passed) who made up our team.
