Evans, Sonya

Passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre on September 11th, 2024, age 78 years. Sonya was a strong woman with a heart of gold. She loved spending time with her family whether it was at the cabin or out shopping around. Sonya was always there as a listening ear and offered the best advice. She was always sure to let everyone know how much they are loved, and we will hold her love in our hearts forever. Predeceased by her husband: Mike, parents: Melva and Rex, brother: Rick. Left with precious memories her loving family, son: Paul (Jane), daughter: Carolyn (Jimmy), grandchildren: Natalie, Nicholas and Jamie-Lynn, great-grandchildren: Jarred, Landon and their mother Dawn, sisters: June (Ron), Glenda (Clyde), Rhonda (Bob). Also, a large circle of extended family and friends. We would like to send a very special thank you to the nurses, staff and doctors of 5SB at the Health Sciences Centre.
