Passed away peacefully but unexpectedly on November 24^th, 2024, age 79 years. Mom loved the outdoors, whether she was fishing, skidooing, skiing, or sitting around a fire in the backyard with friends. She enjoyed many years of playing softball in Labrador City, where she was not only a great catcher but won many batting awards. She always had a pair of knitting needles in her hands to make sure her family was kept cozy and warm. Her kitchen was always filled with the aroma of freshly baked bread and delectable desserts. She took great pride in hosting family and friends with her flair for cooking and joy of entertaining. Her big smile and genuine warmth always made her guests feel welcome. The kindness and love in her heart have touched the lives of all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Left with fond and loving memories her loving husband of 55 years Robin, her daughters, Christine (Corey) and Sharon (Perry) and grandchildren, Alexander, Lucca, Jaime and Peter as well as a large circle of extended family members.  Visitation in Hickey Funeral Home, 570 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South on Friday, November 29^th, 2024, from 10:30 – 2:30 pm.
