Dear Les, Veta and Jason, I just want to let you know that you are all in my thoughts and in my prayers. It is at these times especially that I feel very far away however the beauty of memories is that in our hearts there is no time or distance. Remembering uncle Cyril has very often made me smile, I remember his very contagious laughter! that we loved to visit at your house when we were little because he always made us laugh and have a good time, his love of the muppets comes to mind time and time again. When he visited us, he usually came in with a joke or a funny story that he delivered with pleasure and in thus doing so, more than once he lightened the mood of an ordinary day. I also remember him with a certain sense of pride, yes, proud to know that MY uncle was a million dollar man! Proud to tell his story to those willing to listen, that his life was an inexplicable miracle! His tenacity and strong will are to be admired and respected. I believe he leaves a rich legacy in his passing. I can draw many the inspiration when I reflect upon his life. Uncle will be missed, there will be an emptiness in the family with him not here..I would like to share these words that were given to me upon the passing of my mother.."
